Privacy Policy

On this page

Plain-English notice: This is a pragmatic MVP privacy policy for a small New Zealand service business. It is not a substitute for legal advice. Data-processing locations and terms for third-party tools below are set by those providers and should be independently verified before this is relied on for formal compliance purposes.

Who we are

CreatorOps (by nCrypt) provides fractional technical operations services for online businesses. You can reach us at hello@creatorops.nz.

What we collect

  • Your name, email address, business name, and website, when you submit the Technical Health Check or otherwise contact us.
  • Your answers to the Technical Health Check questionnaire, submitted via our form provider, DeftForm.
  • Booking details (name, email, selected time) when you book a Technical Health Check Review, via our scheduling provider, TidyCal.
  • If you become a customer, billing and payment details handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe — we do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Basic website usage data collected automatically via analytics and session tools (see below).

How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and run your free Technical Health Check and Review.
  • To deliver, invoice, and support the CreatorOps service if you become a customer.
  • To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use your Health Check answers for anything other than preparing for your review and delivering the service.

Third-party tools we use

  • DeftForm — hosts and processes the Technical Health Check form.
  • TidyCal — handles scheduling for the free 20-minute Technical Health Check Review.
  • Stripe — processes payments for customers; handles all payment card data directly.
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — website usage analytics.
  • Microsoft Clarity — website usage analytics and session behaviour (e.g. scroll/click patterns).
  • VisitorTracking — website visitor analytics.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy and may store data outside New Zealand. Review their respective policies for details on data location and retention.

Cookies

The analytics tools above may set cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. We don't use advertising or retargeting cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function normally.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and Health Check information for as long as reasonably useful for following up, and customer information for as long as needed to deliver the service and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email hello@creatorops.nz and we'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Children

CreatorOps is a business-to-business service and isn't directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the service or the tools we use change. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
